Good morning Ladies and Gents,
Let me be very clear as to why I do what I do. Just like any job ( including my sex work job) I do it to support myself and my family. Yes I also do it because I genuinely care about all of you and want to see you soar!
I spent almost my whole weekend ( including Sunday a day I do not even work) doing phone calls, interviewing with ladies and being ladies mental support ONLY to then be flaked on by a TOTAL of 4 ladies who said and I quote ” I will be hiring you and sending you your money next week”
Come on ladies, let’s be real here you all know as do I after myself being a sex worker of many years how being flaked on feels and how it affects our wallets. I TRUST ladies and gents and other genders who are in the same industry as me to do what they say they are going to do, especially when you know it involves my livelihood.
It is NOT ok to say you are hiring someone, tell them a payment date, and then ghost or come up with excuses! That simply is not ok and it is the furthest thing from professional courtesy.
Anytime I cannot do something I let people know. I never tell someone I am going to hire them give them the expectation of expecting money and then disappear. It is not cool.
I have a whole family to take care of and support. It may not be overly professional to rant.. but I am genuinely irritated today beyond belief.
Time is money and even just those phone calls is time. You all will be the first ones complaining once I begin charging to even do phone consults.
Do your research before we speak please. I have a portfolio and testimonials and you can always email me, but do NOT waste my time with phone calls and promises of payment if you have no intent of following through.
I am out of close to 1,700 this week on flakes. Memorial Day is coming and I had special plans for my family NOT to mention my trip to Chicago NEXT WEEK that I do not need or want to postpone again.
I have other ladies that need my help w photos who cannot afford other photogs and I want to get there and help them…
Flaking on me is the same as when a client flakes on you..
Think about how you feel when it happens and STOP DOING IT to other service professionals please.
And before anyone tries to condone, or excuse this kind of behavior please remember these are the same ladies who are angry and appalled when clients make a booking and then cancel last minute or just flake altogether. I assure you it is not different. Remember that when hiring a service professional or when planning to.
